SUNRGI is in the business of designing and developing solar energy systems. It was formed by five, experienced, entrepreneurial, inventive individuals with the goal of creating a renewable energy source that would be available at fossil fuel prices. Its work has led to the development of an entirely new solar energy category: Xtreme Concentrated Photovoltaics™ or XCPV™. SUNRGI maintains offices in Reno, Silicon Valley and Los Angeles.

Cleantech Robert S. (Bob) Block has had a long and successful career in the computer software, communications and entertainment industries. He is known for his pioneering work in communications, information and management technologies. He is the inventor and patent owner of more than 150 issued U.S. and international patents. Bob is Chairman of the Advanced Technology Committee of the National Energy Marketers Association.
Concentrated Photovoltaics Paul Sidlo is the founder and CEO of REZN8, one of Hollywood’s leading digital design and animation studios. He is also a co-founder of EMN8, a payment automation solutions company for quick service restaurants and theaters. He a principal of REZN8, LLC, the principal broker for sponsorship and advertising for the Las Vegas Monorail and a co-founder of Instant Effects, a 3D business tool developer. Paul Sidlo has had significant involvement with Intel and Microsoft with respect to being an early adopter of their leading edge hardware solutions and software applications. Paul has 9 International EMMY’s and numerous other awards.
Concentrated Solar Dr. Murthy has had distinguished careers in telecommunications, software, defense, aerospace and high-technology industries. He served as CEO of technology companies related to fuel cells, ethanol and alternative energies, in addition to executive positions at NASA, Bell Labs and GE. Professional leadership includes the Boards of Directors and Governors of six IEEE societies. Dr. Murthy was a professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Professor of Management at California State University. Career highlights include PNS Telecom - he grew revenue from $60M to over $500M and to a valuation of $3.5B. At the time, PNS was ranked as the fastest-growing company in the U.S. and the largest, U.S. minority-owned company.
forrester Thomas Forrester is an electronics engineer, small systems integrator, executive, and entrepreneur with over 25 years experience in electronics engineering, computer science, aerospace and military systems design and manufacturing. He is responsible for the successful co-development of more than thirty electronic, optical, photovoltaic, data acquisition, energy-production and management, solar energy simulation, remote sensing, thermal management, distributed computing and security systems for DARPA, Homeland Security, DOE and NASA. Thomas holds 5 U.S.& International patents with 6 pending, 2 FCC licenses and has more than 12 publications in peer-reviewed engineering and scientific journals.
kWh Allen Amaro has 30+ years experience in multi-discipline automation engineering and advanced scientific and engineering project management. He has been the founder and CEO of companies in the field of advanced computer integration and factory automation in addition to serving 14 years at the Stanford Research Institute. He became RSI’s Principal Investigator, Engineering Technical Program Manager on programs with NASA, JPL, DOD, DARPA and others. His numerous publications on matters related to heat release have established him as an authority in that field.
Renewable Energy James Marsland originally practiced as a solicitor at Canada’s largest law firm. He then acquired a company that designed and manufactured military and aerospace components for companies that included Litton Systems, Westinghouse, Garrett Aviation, the U.S. Navy, Bombardier Canada, Pratt & Whitney and McDonnell, Douglas. He is currently Vice-President Business Affairs and a director of REZN8.
Solar Electricity Patrick Pharris for 25 years has been involved in the strategic development and creative execution of public relations and marketing communications ventures for some of the most recognized brands in America, including General Motors, Sprint, Hansen Natural Corporation’s Monster Energy Drink, the Recording Industry Association of America, and Harrah’s Entertainment. Mr. Pharris participated as a member of the road show team that raised $650-million to develop the Las Vegas Monorail and personally sold advertising and real estate developments for the Monorail worth more than $70-million. Mr. Pharris founded and served as the CEO of two agencies that specialized in broadcast and Internet publicity and promotions, where he created Internet Press Kit, a unique application of Internet technologies for the e-mail distribution and user-monitoring of multi-media public relations content to the media and special interest groups.
